This day of year,

This day of love,

That comes around every year,

This emphasis on love,

Spent in an unimaginable amount of different ways,

As we buy things, expect things, wish we had things or regret things,

It cracks open our heart in multiple ways,

Through love or fear, through intimacy or tears,

So vastly different for everyone,

It’s easy to start to compare,

It will bring upon us a lens,

Of how we see ourselves,

And how we see the world,

How to deepen our love,

For others, but more importantly for ourselves,

Can we find this every day?

This is the gift I’d say,

Because it’s there,

How well do you pay attention?

Let love take you to a different dimension,

To live in creativity and awe,

There’s no secret progressions,

It’s all within our own intentions,

Whether it be for life, or work, for a lover or a friend,

Never forget it for yourself,

Make sure this love is constantly expanding,

Make sure it feels like it’s about to blow open every single cell,

Find it as you alchemise,

It may come in a disguise,

Go find it in a sunset or sunrise,

Or in the depth of your lovers eyes,

Allow space and feel this energy rise,

Universal and world wide,
