we are vulnerability.

Such a common question and topic,

Are you good at being vulnerable?

To talk about to the tough times,

To talk about where we doubt ourselves,

To talk about our anxieties, fears, resistance, and doubts.

Are you good at being vulnerable?

We talk about “being vulnerable” but I believe we’re missing the point…

Vulnerable is our nature,

It’s about humility.

No person is immune to it, only resistant to it.

It’s a matter of how willing and open we are to accept and realise that we are vulnerable.

That vulnerable is our innate nature.

Anything could happen at any time, life is completely unknown,

We all have fears, We all have triggers, We’re all a bit off centre,

And we’re supposed to be.

We’re not perfect, that’s what makes us perfect. If you were perfect you would have missed the point.

To realise that our nature is vulnerable brings a sense of ease over the body, can you feel it?

We don’t have judge ourselves or think less of ourselves,

For making a big mistake, for eating the wrong food, for getting scared, for speaking our mind, for prioritising others, for making a wrong choice. It happens.

We can breath into the understanding that vulnerable is our nature. So, a part of life are the mistakes, the anxieties and the fears, but do we have the courage to keep moving forward bravely in the midst of this uncertainty. Open to it all.

That is LIVING. That is being ALIVE.

Embracing that we will be scared, embracing we will judge ourselves, Embracing we will have stressors.

Embracing WE ARE VULNERABLE to anything.

That takes the pressure off instantly, we begin to soften, allow and accept these moments, feelings and challenges as a part of the journey and it’s not supposed to be any other way. We can improve how we view them, how we accept them, how we observe them, how we navigate them, but they will come.

We’re supposed to mess up, eat food that make us bloated, stress, get anxious when we don’t really need to, judge ourselves for it all, and then judge ourselves again for judging ourselves in the first place… hahaha.

It all comical isn’t it. Can we laugh at the paradox? Can we laugh at the contradiction?

But as long as we’re living with good intention, staying open to life and the unexpected, being curious in the unknown, seeing where life can lead us, searching for more of what lights us up and what we love, being more in our hearts and less in our mind, I know it will always be ok.

Taste all the foods, eat all the foods, feel all the feelings, test all your limits, get stressed, be calm,

Be busy, be quiet, train hard, don’t train at all, walk, sprint, jump, fight and travel. Explore it all.

Get to know yourself along the way and enjoy all the fruits of life.

Vulnerability is our nature,

Don’t be resistant to it.

Be willing and open we are to accept and realise that we are vulnerable.

Let that take the pressure off yourself.

I’m remembering it for myself too.

Love, Oliver x
